“Growing, Preserving, and Living Traditionally”

“Welcome to Restored Heritage Homestead, where we’re bringing traditional skills into everyday life through gardening, food preservation, herbalism, growing flowers, and cooking from scratch.”

Start Your Homestead

You don’t need acres of land or years of experience to begin homesteading. Whether you’re planting your first garden, learning to preserve food, or making more meals from scratch, every small step brings you closer to a simpler, more intentional way of life. Let’s learn and grow together!

Grow your own food

There’s something so rewarding about planting a tiny seed, watching it grow, and harvesting fresh food for your family. Whether you’re starting your first garden or have been growing for years, I’ll share what I’ve learned about vegetable gardening, growing beautiful flowers, and making the most of every growing season. Let’s get our hands in the dirt and grow something wonderful together!

Herbalism & Natural Living

There’s something special about stepping into the garden and gathering herbs you’ve grown with your own hands. From blending comforting herbal teas to learning the traditional uses of plants, I love discovering the simple ways herbs can become part of everyday life. Here at Restored Heritage Homestead, I’ll share what I’m learning about growing, harvesting, drying, and using herbs while embracing a more natural, intentional lifestyle. Let’s explore the wonderful world of herbs together!

Cook from Scratch

There’s something special about gathering around the table to enjoy a meal made from scratch. I believe good food starts with simple, wholesome ingredients and a little love from the kitchen. Here at Restored Heritage Homestead, I’ll share family-favorite recipes, homemade breads, traditional cooking skills, and ways to turn fresh garden harvests into nourishing meals. Let’s bring the joy of home cooking back to the table!

Hi! I’m Cheri!

I’m so glad you’re here!

Growing up on a farm and spending time in my grandparents’ garden planted a love for the land that has stayed with me throughout my life.

Through life’s ups and downs, I’ve found peace and healing in gardening, growing our own food, and embracing a simpler way of life.

Here at Restored Heritage Homestead, I share my love for cooking from scratch, preserving the harvest, herbalism, and keeping old-fashioned traditions alive.

I hope you’ll find inspiration for your own journey!
